A 5.5 by 3.5 inch sketchbook, 60 pages of Arnhem 1618 paper, a 100% rag, acid-free sheet built for printmaking, calligraphy, illustration, and painting. It's sized on both sides for a vellum-like finish, so ink and wash sit on the surface instead of soaking straight through.
This is paper mills make for printmakers, not for casual doodling, and it shows the moment ink hits the page. Worth carrying if you're testing a technique you actually want to see clearly, not just sketching to pass time.
